The Story Of New Life

I do not even know how to put into words how much these events of life impact me.  Seeing a family struggle thru the delivery, handle the pain together, embrace each other, smile and laugh, and most importantly cherish the new life they are bringing into the world.  The Summers family is one that means more to me than I could ever say.  Watching them through many phases of life is a remarkable thing and I’m so glad that I’ve become part of their life!  I had the honor of watching their first born, Jackson, come into this world and there was NO WAY I was going to miss the delivery of their second!  I practically had to force Emily to let me come along (she was worried about me having had back surgery a few weeks back).

THIS FAMILY!  Witnessing their growth is the most amazing thing EVER!  Emily was so amazing during the delivery.  Two pushes.  TWO PUSHES.  After laboring for hours, it was time to push…and she did it in what I would call record fashion.  I was amazed at this WONDER WOMAN!  I just stood there shocked for a second then remembered I needed to take pictures!  Spending time with them during the delivery and right after are priceless moments that get to be captured and remembered for years to come.  These are the moments that will stay with me all my life, and hopefully Emily and Frank as well.

When I look at these photos, so many things flood my mind.

Do you remember the first time you saw your child?

Do you remember when the nurse placed the baby in your hands?

Do you remember the joy you felt?

Do you remember the happy moments?

Do you remember the journey?

I hope these photos keep those memories alive for Emily and Frank.

Here’s their video!  Welcome, Dawson!  Can’t wait to watch you grow this year!

It was love at first sight!
