I love my job {Pittsburgh Boudoir Photographer}

I have an issue with confidence. I think most people do. I look at myself often and compare myself to others – BIG MISTAKE. Why can’t I do that? Why don’t my photos look like theirs? The list of questions I present myself goes on and on but the one thing these comparisons do is destroy my confidence.

I work very hard at trying to build my confidence, and one area that I have confidence is my boudoir photography. Sometimes I amaze myself (I laughed inside as I wrote that) – I’ll look at an image after I’ve edited it and think, “WOW! I TOOK THAT PHOTO! That’s mine!” Inevitably, I have that reaction with every boudoir session. There’s one photo (usually more) that will just stick in my head … and every time I look at it that confidence grows. This isn’t meant to float my own boat – I’m not perfect and I’m always learning things – but I’m figuring out ways to maintain my confidence.

Boudoir is my sweet spot. My confidence and passion for this job grow after each session. My client’s confidence and passion in themselves grow too – it’s a win-win for all of us! 🙂

When this gorgeous woman contacted me about boudoir and I asked why she wanted to do the session, she said, “Maybe it’s because I’ve had three kids or am turning 30 this year, but I want to feel beautiful and every picture I see you do is so classy and gorgeous. The women all look so confident. I love that!”

Yup, I got this. This is my passion. This is my speciality. And, I think my clients recognize that. There’s no better place than being in your sweet spot! Enjoy a few of these photos from her session.
