Well, I’m finally getting around to blogging more of my weddings from 2016!  It was a crazy wonderful year and I’m taking some time to share some of the fabulous couples that graced my camera over the fall season!  Today, it’s Lisa & James!  Here’s a little about their wedding:

Venue:  Ceremony was in the library at the Heinz History Center!  What an amazing venue with so many cool things for their guests to see.  She got dressed in a conference room upstairs that had this gorgeous light coming in thru a window.  I live for little moments like that – just a quite time for me and the bride!  Their reception was held at the Grand Hall at the Priory on the North Side.  What a wonderful venue!  We even snuck away for a few minutes to grab some photos on the balcony, and Lisa requested a full group shot of all their guests on the dance floor.  It was so great to see everyone come together for a quick photo.

Favorite Moment of the Day:  This is always hard for me to write because I love so much of each and every wedding!  But, Lisa and James are very similar to me and Tony, so their bridal portraits were super fun!  We had a blast as we knocked out photos in just 25 minutes!  There is this cute little area right next to the Priory that was great for their photos.  I LOVED sharing this day with them and I am so excited to see what the future holds for this writer and musician!  Follow your dreams, Mr. and Mrs. Drakes!  🙂
