How to use prints of your boudoir photos {Pittsburgh Boudoir Photographer}

My next boudoir tip is focused on what to do with your photos!  That’s a question I even get asked by my mother — “what do these ladies do with the photos?”

Good question, Mom!

If you aren’t going to get an album made, consider prints!!

I know that these photos are intimate in nature and it may be hard for you to get prints made of your images, but I have some ideas for you.

Peak-a-Boo

Here’s a tip I received from a boudoir photographer that I follow.  Hang a super sexy photo from your session in their closet — behind their clothes.  So, when he spreads apart those items that are hanging he sees YOU!  Imagine the smile on his face as he gets dressed – I’d say you’d start the day off right every single day.

Another awesome idea from a client.  Her husband had a garage and she decided to get a poster size print from her photo shoot and hung it up.  She just waited for him to notice the photo of her – big surprise for him!

Folio boxes

Pick a bunch of your favorite photos and create a folio box that he can keep by his bedside.  He can pick up the box and flip thru the photos whenever he wants.  Your photographer should offer this option when purchasing photos.

Bold & Beautiful

Most photographers will provide you with some photos that are not over the top and overly sexual.  Print one of those photos and hang it up on the wall in the bedroom.  My clients typically pick a photo that is less risqué that they would be comfortable with their family seeing.  I always try to incorporate some of these photos in the collection I provide to clients just for this purpose.  Whenever they look at that photo not he wall, they can think about the full collection of photos!

I also want to encourage you to order prints through your photographer.  I always tell my clients that the gallery I provide them to order photos is protected and I have a strict privacy policy with my gallery company.  It’s important to protect these photos.  If you have them printed at Target, Walmart or any other online service, you have no idea what’s happening to your photos.  Please be very cautious with these photos!  OK, I’m off my soapbox now!
