I love working with kids all over Pittsburgh and being a Blackhawk senior photographer has introduced me to some amazing kids.  Wow, wow, wow!  It has been a joy for me to work with Kaitlyn and her mom for her senior session!

Kaitlyn is a senior at Blackhawk High School in Beaver Falls, PA.  She’s graduating in June and has yet to decide where she will be attending college.  Can’t wait to hear what she decides to do – her choices are endless.

Kaitlyn sparkles in these photos – SPARKLES!  I love being able to capture someone’s personality in their photos.  Forget the fact that she’s one of the most gorgeous girls I’ve ever photographed – she has the most wonderful and fun personality!  At the start of her shoot, I asked her for “no smile” in a photo – and that was hard for her.  She loves to smile and have fun, so that’s what we did.  Tons of smiles and tons of fun!  We laughed so much – it’s sessions like this that remind me  of why I love photographing seniors!

I always say, “look up – isn’t your future pretty bright?”  I get the photo but it is always followed by a laugh, which I love.  Yes, I say crazy and strange things to get natural reactions – it’s just what I do!  

Look at those eyes!  She just sparkles!  One thing I love about photography is being able to capture someone’s spirit in images, and I feel like I’ve done that with her. 

What a beautiful journey she is about to embark.  It’s been amazing to be a part of her senior year in highs school and so many great things await this amazing young lady.

Oh Elvis – he certainly gave me a run for my money.  He has a hot temper! 🙂  He only lasted for a few photos but I was happy to put him in a few photos.  Animals mean a lot to Kaitlyn, so it was important for me to capture them together.
