Chad & Abbey {Pittsburgh Wedding & Engagement Photographer}

We had a lovely time with Chad and Abbey at their engagement session!

They both admitted to us that they don’t really have pictures of themselves together…..that’s a little shocking in this day and age of Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.  But, we went for it!  I enjoyed our time with them and am looking forward to their wedding in May!

The fall colors were in great bloom and it made a fabulous backdrop for their session!  The colors will be nice and rich in May and I can’t wait!

Their wedding will also be here and I can’t wait to get this same shot in their wedding attire! Just a few short months away!

They’re so cool!  I really loved all the photos with the sunglasses!!!

Jen & Chuck {Pittsburgh Wedding & Engagement Photographer}

 I can’t even begin to express how much fun we had with Jen and Chuck during their engagement session!  This couple made me laugh so incredibly much and the time went by way too quickly!

Chuck proposed to Jen at McConnell’s Mill State Park … along the Slippery Rock Gorge Trail.  The original idea was to hike into their exact engagement spot and take photos there.  We were certainly up for it as hikers ourselves – their story is much like ours, as Tony proposed to me while we were out hiking one day!  Plans changed though and we just decided to take photos at the Mill.  Fine with me! 🙂

The foliage was in true form but boy was it hot for an October day!

We’re so excited for their wedding next year…can’t wait to see these two tie the knot…and we’re honored they picked us to be a part of their day!!!

See..seriously, they make me laugh!

Yup, another gorgeous Pics By Chicks Bride! 🙂

Chelsea {Pittsburgh Senior & Portrait Photographer}

 We made a trip out to Lancaster to photograph Chelsea!  Chelsea is a country girl – No muss and no fuss for her!  We had a great time with her and her mom!

Chelsea was in my sister’s wedding…I can’t believe she’s a senior now!  When I look at her fresh and clean face in these photos, I see that youngster walking down the aisle!

Congrats, Chelsea!!!  Your amazing future is waiting for you…

Camille & Leon {Pittsburgh Wedding & Engagement Photographer}

Wow!  Had such a great time with Camille & Leon at their engagement session.  The sun was shining, the fall colors were on the trees, and a beautiful couple….a wonderful combination.

Here are some photos from our session.  Leon said after the shoot that it was great to work with people who loved what they do!  SO TRUE!!!!  We have such a passion for photography and I’m glad that shines thru us so that our clients feel comfortable and trust us to photograph this big moment in their life!

Congrats guys – can’t wait for your wedding in May!

Be sure to head over to our Facebook page to stay up to date on our work.

She’s honestly one of the most beautiful women I’ve ever photographed!

He adores her!!  ADORES!

I always have a hard time picking my favorites, which is why there are too many pictures in my blog posts.  But, this has to be favorite #1.

Favorite #2 below…

Camille looks so carefree and happy! I love seeing that in my brides!

Leon was great in front of the camera!

Favorite #3….am I at 3 now?  I lost count of my favorites! 🙂

Favorite #4!!!  See…I’m bad at favorites!  Love these kind of shots where tall grass frames the photo!

Grant – Celebrating 1 Year {Pittsburgh Children Photographer}

We welcomed Grant into the studio for his one-year old session! He was such a treat – was so full of laughs…well, at least for the first part!  When we moved into some Christmas pictures, he started to hit his limit.

We did a cake smash session but he could have cared less.  Sugar, cake, icing…that good stuff means nothing to him…all he wanted was his puffs and Cheerios!!  I thought maybe he had been all caked out since he had two birthday parties the weekend before but his mom told me he didn’t care about cake then either.

A big shout out to Amy Cakes for her adorable cake for the smash!!

Cake time….

Seriously…we even put Cheerios and puffs on top of the cake…still didn’t work!!!   At least the cleanup was easy!
