In preparation for our upcoming cruise, I brought my wedding shoes out of the closet thinking I might want to wear them for formal night on the cruise. I love these glittery gold shoes and I only got to wear them once!!! Here are some quick pictures I snapped of the veil and shoes.
I’ll be wearing the shoes on the cruise but I think I’ll leave the veil at home…bummer, right. Don’t want the other cruisers to think I’m a total nutcase!

Ahhh, young love! What a great day at Hartwood Acres shooting Rachel & Kevin! Rachel is so great in front of the camera and was able to help loosen Kevin up a bit. Rachel is an amazing photographer herself and often does self-portraits, so it was a great treat for us to be able to take them out!
I love the way he’s looking at her in this photo!
Rachel loves using picture frames in her own pictures so I thought it would be great to incorporate them into our shoot!

Sabrina and Ray are such a fun-loving couple. They wanted mostly candid shots of their big day and we were more than happy to honor that request.

At the bridal shower, Sabrina’s maid of honor had these vases with Ray & Sabrina’s initials as the centerpieces. Sabrina incorporated them into the wedding decor! They were beautiful.
They are superstars!!!
We had the opportunity to photograph cousins Noah & Millie around Christmas. What a handful!
I know as photographers we should not post some of the unflattering pictures of poor Millie … like when she had her meltdown … but we think it’s hilarious and it shows you how much hard work it takes to get good shots of children this age. This 3 photo grouping is what Millie’s mother calls “The Meltdown Series.” Love it!
Millie lost it when her dad took her sippy cup away from her – and then after Millie started crying, her sister Norah joined in! It’s called bribery, people .. and Pics By Chicks will use any and all forms of bribery!
We had an amazing shoot with the lovely Sarah Lozier. She was amazingly comfortable in front of the camera and was so willing to follow our posing instructions!
