A Preview for Hayley {Pittsburgh Senior Photographer}

Oh, Hayley! What a beautiful and talented young woman, and I was honored that she chose me for her senior photos.

I wanted to edit just a few preview photos from Hayley’s photo session. Wow – she had some killer outfits – her styling is spot on. We even joked that I should hire her as a stylist for all my sessions. The outfits really reflected who she is – and it was so great to see her shine!

Let’s not forget to mention her infectious smile and bubbly personality! I can’t wait to go thru all her photos but just a couple for now.

It was such a fun session with Hayley and her mom! I love that this job connects us with some amazing people – I enjoy getting to know our clients during their sessions, and I’m certain our paths will cross again! 🙂

Hayley has many talents. This black dress is her “performance dress” that she wears when playing piano. We certainly had to incorporate it into her photos!

Little One {Pittsburgh Lifestyle Newborn Photographer}

A newborn that won’t sleep! 🙂 Perfectly calm but wouldn’t sleep.

Meet Nicole & Graham’s beautiful baby girl! It has been a joy for me to get to know Nicole and watch her family grow. She’s been a huge supporter of mine and her continued encouragement pushes me forward. I love my clients and Nicole is no exception. I can’t wait to watch her kids grow up and document their milestones in photos!

Chad & Abbey {Pittsburgh Wedding Photographer}

Another beautiful May wedding has made it to the blog!

It was a bright, sunny and beautiful day for Chad & Abbey’s wedding celebration. It was a pleasure for us to shoot their ceremony at Brush Creek Park, which is an absolutely beautiful location!

Here is a small collection of their photos – just some of my favorites. We wish you all the best, Chad and Abbey!

I LOVE veils! Every bride should have a veil – EVERY BRIDE! 🙂 I love the softness the veil creates, and well, as a photographer there’s no better “prop” for the photos! Abbey’s veil was simple, yet elegant. Love the softness of the below photo.

Love the smile on Chad’s face as he begins to read his vows. I love little moments like this – you don’t realize it when it’s happening but when you capture it, it’s a moment you love to relive.

The new Mr. & Mrs. The arch is something that the family made and put together just for the ceremony – it was such a beautiful and personal touch.

Oh, now it’s time for bridal portraits!

Brush Creek is so beautiful – love the pond, little bridge and the trees all around the area. It’s the perfect location for a spring wedding! And in the fall – it’s even more gorgeous!

I always say to my clients – “Gotta get that mom & dad shot” – this is what I mean.

So warm and beautiful! Love these next few black and white photos.

Always like to capture these candid moments from the reception. I think this captures their personalities beautifully.

A few more details from the day. They wrote their vows on cute little notebooks, and instead of a unity candle they shared a glass of wine.

Throwback Boudoir Style {Pittsburgh Boudoir Photographer}

This lovely woman came to her session with many different outfits. This was the last in the long line of options I had, and as a photographer I love options. This last outfit was so inspiring – she put it on and immediately I knew which pieces of my jewelry collection I was going to put with it. Then it hit me – MY LACE GLOVES! I rarely use the beautiful gloves in my photo shoots but I thought it would look perfect.

As soon as she put them on, my mind was all in a tizzy as ideas were floating around in my head with posing. I stopped after about 30 photos and said I felt like this was a throwback to the 80s and we were channeling a modern day Madonna. I don’t know why – maybe it was the gloves or the stacked bracelets, maybe it was the looks she was giving me but WOW! I loved every minute of shooting this outfit. But, who am I kidding – I love every minute of every boudoir shoot.

Shelly & Seth {Pittsburgh Wedding & Engagement Photographer}

This was Shelly & Seth’s second engagement session with us. You can see photos from their first session at Mellon Park by clicking here.

At the clothing change during their session in October, Shelly realized she forgot her heels, which she wanted to wear with her second outfit. We continued with the session in spite of the shoe issue but then it started to rain. We decided to go out for another session once they moved back to the Pittsburgh area.

They will be married at Hartwood Acres in August, so I thought it would be cool to do their quick second engagement session there as well. I adore photographing at Hartwood Acres – the mansion & grounds are just beautiful.

We had such a great time with them – I am looking forward to their wedding more than you know!

He LOVES her! I mean, WOW! Seth just impresses me so much with the way he wants to hold her, touch her and kiss her! I loved capturing the love between these two!
