Graham loves Nicole {Pittsburgh Beaver PA Wedding Photographer}

It was a beautiful April day for Graham and Nicole’s wedding at Rolling Acres!

Nicole had so many special details at the reception – it was so great to photograph those items.

Needless to say we had an amazing time celebrating with them and their families. Here are just some of the photos from their day. Congrats to two lovely people!

It seemed that everyone was gathering inside the Timberhouse prior to the outdoor ceremony. So we had to sneak into the ballroom so that I could take some quick photos of Nicole before she walked down the aisle. It was a treat to get her into the room while empty so we could spend some time together!

She’s one of the most beautiful women I’ve ever photographed!

Well, if you didn’t know .. Nicole and Graham are expecting a baby in June! Just a few short weeks away. She was just glowing!

There were many laughs throughout the ceremony, which made it very personal. I can tell they are a couple that like to laugh and have fun!

So, Nicole was brought to the ceremony site by a horse drawn carriage! Afterwards, she wanted some photos with the horses and I was more than happy to oblige.

Ahh….I LOVE veils! Every bride should have a veil.

Seriously, my camera LOVES her!

I just couldn’t stop taking photos of her gorgeous ring. It’s stunning!

Meet James, Nicole’s son! He was a complete riot. I call their wedding photos, “The many faces of James!” He was having the best time of his life and it showed. He had so many different expressions that I couldn’t help but capture it in the photos!

Bridal Portrait Session {Pittsburgh Wedding Photographer}

Bridal Portrait Sessions are a wonderful chance to capture the emotion of the day!

I always love when a couple allows for time in their busy day to let us take some photos of them – photos that I hope they will cherish the rest of their life! It’s no surprise to anyone that follows our blog that we don’t have good photos from our wedding, which breaks my heart! I can’t get that day back!

EVERY time I’m editing the photos from weddings I say to Tony, “Oh, I wish we had this kind of photo from our wedding!” or “Oh, this is going to look so great blown up on their wall!”

I want you to see your photos and remember what it was like that day – I want you to relive that emotion! It’s one of the best days of your life – take a moment to enjoy it. That’s my goal in taking your bridal portraits. Plan for this very special time in your wedding day – you won’t regret it!

Mike & Kasey {Pittsburgh Maternity Photographer}

It was a beautiful & sunny day for Mike & Kasey’s maternity session at Hartwood Acres. I adore maternity sessions – capturing that special moment as parents prepare for the arrival of their child … it’s priceless!

We had an amazing time with this couple – you can see the love they have for each other and their excitement to meet baby Liam.

A boudoir trifecta! {Pittsburgh Boudoir Photographer}

Sometimes I see a photo I took and it immediately jumps out at me. So much so that I just can’t wait to share it. (And so much so that sometimes I can’t believe that I … ME … took the photo! haha)

Boudoir sessions are amazing for women for many different reasons. Confidence boosting, empowering, pampering – just to give you a few words.

This photo is one of my favorites…EVER! What a great combination of lighting, posing, hair, makeup and editing technique. That’s more than 3 elements but it’s the boudoir trifecta! I simply love making this happen for my clients. LOVE. LOVE. Did I mention I love this?

I just had a conversation with my mentor where I said that I don’t want to be doing anything else but this. Giving women this experience and providing them with AMAZING images! Who wouldn’t want this experience?!?! Mark it off your bucket list, ladies. You deserve it!!!!

Lacey’s Princess Birthday Party

Just a few photos of my time with the Lacey & her family and friends at her princess birthday party at Artsy Doodle in Beaver.

It’s always a treat for me to spend time with this family, and this party was no exception. There’s something about photographing a child’s party like this:

1) I capture TRUE emotion. Opening those gifts, being surprised, loving what you’re getting .. all good things about these events.

2) I love seeing kids interact with other kids. It’s just pure fun. There were swords for the boys and crowns for the girls. Well, the girls picked up the swords and started sword fighting. It was great.

3) Love that mom & dad can sit back and relax during the party and let me worry about photos. Angela wasn’t running around making sure she got a photo of something – she knew I was there to capture all those special moments from the day.

I love this job I call photography! It’s an amazing journey and I love everything about each photographic opportunity presented to me!
