Leon loves Camille.  That was pretty evident on their beautiful May wedding day!

During their engagement session, Leon admitted that he’s not the best picture taker and is not always comfortable in front of the camera.  No problem – I’m used to that with the men we photograph.  Their engagement photos were amazing!  Fast forward 7 months to their wedding and I was so impressed with Leon.  Most men are tired of photos after about 5 minutes – not Leon.  He knew how important the wedding day photos were to Camille and he stuck thru it.  I’d put them in a pose, give them a little direction, then we’d stop.  He’d say, “OK, what’s next Maura?” And, he said it with the most excitement I’ve ever heard from a groom.  He wanted to make sure he gave Camille the wedding of her dreams – and he did.

It was a magical day for them both and I was honored and priveleged to be their wedding photographer!  Here is a small collection of their wedding photos – it was hard to pick just a few – enjoy!

Camille’s mom & sister were putting her in the dress.  I always love photos like this as a bride gets into her dress.  She was EXCITED!!

Meet Olive – Camille’s beloved dog.  We had to get Olive in some photos.  And, they had a signature drink at the reception…called The White Olive! 🙂 So cute!

OK, so I secretly want to be adopted by this family!  They are so full of fun and love – it was so evident when I was taking their family photos.  It was hard to pick just one for the blog but wow – I just love this photo of mom & daughters.  Love their looks & laughter so much!

Camille is one of the most beautiful women I’ve ever photographed.  I (and my camera) love her!

Her dress, her hair, her makeup – everything was perfect!  We all loved the back of her dress!

I just love this photo – for a couple reasons.  1) She was so excited to get on the limo & get to the church to get married to Leon! 2) Dad was a trooper all day.  Holding up the dress so she could walk around, getting her whatever she wanted, and being my model while testing out the light outside for her portraits.  Again, I love this family & want to be adopted! 🙂

I have photographed this sorority dance a few times now, and I love to see how these sisters come together for each other’s wedding day.  Camille pulled Leon into their dance of These Are Days and they all surrounded them!  So awesome!
