Meet Holly! She’s preparing for her final year of high school and is excited about the future that is waiting for her.
We probably picked the hottest day of the year so far for her senior pictures. I emailed Holly’s mom, Rhonda, prior to the session to ask her if she wanted to reschedule but…NO…Holly was determined to get her senior pictures taken. We had such a great time with both Holly & Rhonda. Here are a few of the pictures from her shoot.

Effective 8/1, our non-wedding pricing will be changing. Clients will pay a session fee and then have the option to order a print package based on their needs. Exception here is boudoir – the price for the session is increasing but the inclusions of the service remain as is.
All photos from your session will be loaded to an online password protected gallery and you can choose the package you wish to purchase, or you can purchase photos a la carte from your gallery.
Clients should keep in mind our promotions in order to earn prints from your session:
1) 10% credit based on other purchasers!! You can send your online gallery to your friends & family. They can place orders for your pictures via this site. YOU will earn a 10% print credit based on the amount other individuals place on your pictures. For example, mom purchases $200 in prints, you earn $20 to spend on your prints (in addition to any package you purchase).
2) Referral pays!! You will earn a $20 print credit (enough for a free 8×10) for every referral that books a session with us. Spread the love and we reward you!
If you have any questions about the new pricing, please let us know. The website will be updated on 8/1 with new information. If you book a session prior to 8/1, you will be charged the existing package price.

I adore Danielle! She was referred to us by Angela (see her blog post for her Mommy & Me session by clicking here). We’ve been talking about taking pictures of her kids for 3 months before we actually got together to do it! The running joke was that we’d get the pictures done before Christmas, as we had to cancel a few times due to the weather.
A hot, HOT, HOTTTT Sunday we went out to take pictures of the kids. Did I mention it was hot?!?! The kids arrived ready to go. It was clear from the start that we were going to have our hands full and I knew with the heat the kids wouldn’t last long. The kids did well, but you can see the sweat level progress and the poor baby was just having NONE of it. NONE OF IT, people. She couldn’t stand the heat.
A few days after our shoot, Danielle brought the baby to the house for some quick pictures in this adorable outfit and headband she purchased. We had to get pictures in this outfit and I was real pleased with how the pictures turned out. Plus, the baby responded much better to the nice cool indoors. 🙂
We’ve been toying with the idea of converting one of our spare rooms into a photography studio to offer our clients in-studio sessions. It was clear after this shoot that we MUST do this. So, many thanks to Danielle for solidifying our idea. I’m excited for the new studio space – I’m going crazy at Home Goods, TJMaxx, and on Etsy…as well as all the yard sales in the area. We’re gonna be stocked! We’ll be working over the next few weeks on converting the space…cleaning, painting, organizing…We’ll be offering mini-sessions for Christmas pictures in November – using the new studio space!!

It was a bright and sunny Friday … a nice little drive to North Park .. to photograph little Bean and her parents.
I met Nicole at Shannon & Dave’s wedding (click here for their blog post). She was Shannon’s maid of honor .. and I had a blast with her! We laughed all day long and as we were leaving she asked if we did children photography, we answered “YES” and a month later we were photographing her beautiful family. I’ve been so blessed to know her – Nicole is one of those people that you connect with immediately and you feel like you’ve known forever! I’m so thankful that she’s come into my life!
One thing I love about photography is all the connections I make with clients and their families and friends. It’s so great to be able to photograph someone that was a part of another shoot! You never know who you are going to meet!
