Who is She? A most fabulous nurse who is constantly serving others!

Why Did She Do a Boudoir Photo Shoot?  She wanted to give her fiancé something that was going to knock his socks off!  And, boy did she ever!

What Were Her Lingerie Selections?  Lots of great stuff as usual!  I think her black corset was from Yandy; she had a bodysuit and teddy from Victoria’s Secret; we used her veil and I strategically place tulle around her; a bra & panty set; and I put her in one of my tops right at the end of the session!

Favorite Moment: The amount of laughs we shared was something special.  And, she made me come alive even more in getting to be creative with so many shots!  She even has a couple poses named after her!  (Note – I name my poses after certain clients who try it first!)  I’m hoping to have her back some day…I’m sure her husband would love to have her here again! <3

Today, I leave the blog to one of my clients!  She was worried prior to booking her shoot that her tiny stature would limit her ability to do a boudoir shoot but one of my favorite things to do in my sessions in create curves!

Here’s what she had to say:

1) Why did you decide to invest in a boudoir photo shoot?  I decided to invest in a boudoir photo shoot as a gift to my husband for our anniversary and to boost my self esteem. I’ve always been the quiet type of person and I thought that by doing this I would surprise him and myself by doing something out of my comfort zone.

2) How did you feel about yourself before your photo shoot?  I was very self conscious about myself and my body before my photo session. Between having two children and life going on I never thought of myself as beautiful or attractive in any sense.

3) How did you feel about yourself after your photo shoot?  I felt empowered, gorgeous, beautiful and like there was a side to me that I just wasn’t seeing but was there the entire time. I felt like I was on cloud nine and couldn’t believe how amazing it felt to have someone tell me how gorgeous I was, other than my husband, and that I truly was gorgeous. I just had to believe it.

4) Describe your session in 3 words?  Fun, amazing, life-changing

5) What was your favorite part of the boudoir photo shoot?  Having my hair and makeup done and being put in such fabulous jewelry to complete each outfit. How much fun I had with Maura and her personality is amazing.

6) What would you say to other women who are considering a boudoir photo shoot?  Don’t hesitate if you are considering doing a boudoir photo shoot. This experience has changed my life. I now see myself as a beautiful woman. I know that it may seem intimidating but every ounce of nerves went straight out the window as soon as I walked through the door. Do this for yourself and see what a difference it will make it in your life. It completely changed mine.
