The women you see on my website are real women.  Real women like you and me.  I never hire models to pose for me.  The women you see are clients that have invested in a boudoir photo shoot and have graciously allowed me to showcase their photos.  When clients release their photos to me, I like to ask them a few questions so that I can share their answers with you.  This should convince you that they are just like you.  They were nervous and excited, couldn’t believe they were going do a boudoir photo shoot, but had an awesome experience that they want to share with you!

So today on the blog I leave you with Ms. M’s feedback on her boudoir photo shoot in Pittsburgh!

1) Why did you decide to invest in a boudoir photo shoot?  Wedding present to my fiance 🙂

2) How did you feel about yourself before your photo shoot?  Pretty confident but not model worthy

3) How did you feel about yourself after your photo shoot?  Amazing! I can’t say enough about you and how awesome I felt afterwards. I felt like a model during my shoot

4) Describe your session in 3 words?  Glamorous, gorgeous, and beautiful!!!

5) What was your favorite part of the boudoir photo shoot?  Seeing your reaction while you were shooting me…and losing it (in a good way) saying omg omg he’s going to die!!! Made me feel pretry special and awesome and beautiful, gave me a lot of confidence to “get it girl” 🙂

6) What would you say to other women who are considering a boudoir photo shoot?  You’re an amazing photographer who makes you feel so comfortable and confident. I wouldn’t hesitate to book another shoot 🙂 which will be next year 😉

Another Chick Clique Boudoir Bombshell who describes her session in her own words.  Her boudoir photo shoot was absolutely amazing!  Here’s what she had to say:

1) Why did you decide to invest in a boudoir photo shoot?  I had heard of boudoir shoots before, but never really considered it for myself until Maura mentioned it as a wedding day present for my soon-to-be husband. After reading through her boudoir session booklet and the testimonials of women who had done them, I was sold!

2) How did you feel about yourself before your photo shoot?  It was about a month before my wedding and I was STRESSED! Physically, I was feeling a little “blah” because I’d been running around so much I didn’t have the time to exercise as regularly as I usually do. I was definitely nervous! I’m a pretty modest person, so walking around in my underwear was really outside my comfort zone.

3) How did you feel about yourself after your photo shoot?  I felt great! The hair and makeup treatment are a surefire way to make you feel glam, and having someone else do it for you is pampering! Maura made me feel completely comfortable throughout the shoot, from helping me choose from the outfit options I brought, giving me a description of how the shoot would go and what to expect from me, to picking out jewelry to complement my outfits, giving great direction of how to pose, and keeping me laughing. I left feeling confident and excited to see the beautiful photos I knew Maura had created, and like I had pushed myself to do something outside my comfort zone.

4) Describe your session in 3 words?  comfortable, encouraging, fun

5) What was your favorite part of the boudoir photo shoot?  I loved that I could trust Maura to create and capture beautiful, authentic photos of me. She understood my personality and made sure I was comfortable with everything she suggested. Her excitement was contagious!

6) What would you say to other women who are considering a boudoir photo shoot?  Even if you are like me and blush at the thought of leaving your bedroom uncovered, book the shoot! Browse Maura’s photos and outfit suggestions – you can find beautiful outfits that you’re comfortable in. And know that you will be in a private, safe environment.

I always love highlighting my client’s journey thru their boudoir shoot.  It’s something I did with my live shoot client and I finally finished her video.  Being a pittsburgh boudoir photographer is such an AMAZING job and it’s even more amazing when I get to show you what it’s really like.

Back in August, I did a live boudoir shoot in my private Facebook group.  (Note – the group is open to ALL women.  I will link to it below this post so you can watch the next live shoot – it’s happening in December)

While my client was in hair & makeup, I was taking some behind the scenes photos and some video of her preparation.  But, the best part was that before hair & makeup even started I did an interview with her.  Then after the shoot, we did another interview.  And, I made a video to highlight her journey thru her boudoir photo shoot.

I love that my clients are so open, honest and real when it comes to what they are experiencing in their life and what a boudoir photo shoot has done for them.  This stunning woman holds nothing back and I couldn’t be happier to be a part of her journey.  Please take just a couple minutes to hear about what she’s dealing with, take a look at some of her photos and then listen as she talks about her day with me!
