Now, onto my client:
Let me start off by saying, WOW – what an amazing day! I never pictured myself looking like the woman I see in this sexy photo. We are our toughest critic. But, Maura brought out something in me I didn’t know I had. I look at these boudoir photos and I am speechless. This gorgeous bombshell of a woman is ME! Me, a mother of two, who never got around to accepting my new body after pregnancy. Who isn’t happy with the fact that clothes don’t fit quite the way they used to. Who just doesn’t feel sexy or attractive anymore, no matter how many times my husband tells me I’m beautiful. I wanted to change that. I wanted to bring my self-confidence back and embrace my body. The body that blessed me with the ability to have babies, the body I’m going to have forever.
I arrived in the morning a little nervous but just excited to see what was in store for the day. We did a live Q&A, sans makeup – which is rare for me. But I just went with it, this whole day was going to be a new experience for me, and I was going to embrace everything about it. I tried on some amazing lingerie Maura had picked out, which was awesome because I didn’t have to think or stress about finding the right garments. I then had my hair and makeup done as I sipped on a Mimosa. I was treated like a celebrity and I felt like Maura was a friend of mine that I had known for years. You can’t help but immediately feel comfortable around her, which put me at ease since I was walking around wearing barely anything all day.
I didn’t have the first clue how to pose on a bed, on the floor or against the wall. Maura gave me perfect instruction and even struck a couple poses herself so that I could see the look she was going for. Her enthusiasm and sense of humor really made the day enjoyable for me. It was hard to keep a straight face when she had me laughing the whole day. I even forgot we were doing a live feed half the time. I was her model for the entire day, so we were able to try a few new things too. Maura sent me this photo today – pretty quick turnaround if you ask me. It is stunning and I cannot wait to see more! I’m sure my husband will be thinking the same thing.
Thank you Maura for helping me feel like me again, a better me. You’ve made me feel amazing and sexy and proud of who I am. It’s so nice to see someone with your enthusiasm, doing what they love and appreciating the fact that they get to do it. You are a special person with a special gift. This is an experience I will never forget.
