Sexy & Inexpensive

My client arrived with a few different items for her military themed boudoir and one very simple outfit stood out to me when we went thru everything. Doing Boudoir Photography Pittsburgh puts me in contact with a lot of different types of lingerie. I’m here today to display a myth — boudoir outfits need to be expensive to produce sexy photos. LIE!

Here’s the truth – I can knock it out of the park with your photos if you outfit was $100 or if your outfit was $10. I like to combine your outfit with some fab jewelry, awesome heels, and killer posing! All of that makes for some awesome, sexy, fun and stunning boudoir photos.

Take a look at this simple, yet beautiful, form fitting black camisole. She killed it in this outfit with some additional styling. I loved it so much that when we went thru all her outfits, I knew this one would be a show stopper for me. Sometimes I love a simple outfit because it allows me to jazz it up with all my accessories.

Love this very simple and elegant beauty shot.

Guess what? This outfit was only $8.94 and she got it from Walmart! Yes, Walmart! What I love about this camisole – it pulls you in but does have some support so it would work for those with a little bigger bust.

I’m serious, you all. While I love some fancy lingerie and lace and sparkle, simple and inexpensive pieces can work for your boudoir session! I know you are making a big investment in doing a session so you can find good items on a budget.

This beautiful woman’s boudoir photo shoot was AMAZING! She originally contacted me for a boudoir mini session but wasn’t available at the time slots left. So, after some back & forth, she decided to invest in a full boudoir photo shoot … and boy was I happy she did! I emailed her numerous times to tell her how amazing her shoot was … and that if I had only had 30 minutes to photograph her I would have been disappointed.

I love being able to share this wonderful experience with my clients. Connecting with them is something I pride myself on, and I cannot wait to work with all the women in 2016!

The One Thing I Can’t Live Without

Working in boudoir photography Pittsburgh, I have lots of stuff when it comes to my photography business. The studio, props, chairs, sofas, lingerie, cameras, lenses, lights, etc. Running this business takes so incredibly much. But, there is one thing in my business and life that I couldn’t live without – my fabulous husband.

Let me explain….

As I celebrate women through my boudoir photography, they often tell me how much closer they feel to their significant other after their photo shoot. Doing something that’s completely out of their comfort zone that they know someone else would appreciate – it brings couples together and solidifies relationships. I love that about this job!!

After a boudoir photo shoot, Tony is the first person I talk to. He always asks about the shoot (he doesn’t get to see the photos) and my first response is always, “I LOVE MY JOB!” I yell it, I scream it, I say it 10 times in a row.

Then I thank him profusely for his constant support.

You see, the truth is – I couldn’t do this without him. Without his support, encouragement and love, I wouldn’t be able to do what I love! Having a partner that supports my endeavor and understands my vision is something so priceless!

I struggled in corporate america saying to him for years that I could no longer do my job. I knew what my passion was [photography] and it wasn’t getting yelled at in corporate america for things I wasn’t responsible for (upper management sucks). When I decided to quit, he was my biggest support and champion cheering me on. He was the first one to say that it was OK to pursue my passion and assured me everything would be fine.

All the things that I had provided for us – consistent paychecks, health insurance, etc – he now provides for us. And, I get to focus on my passion. The thing that makes me most happy.

When my clients say their relationship with their significant other grows after the shoot, I feel the same way about my husband. My love for him, my appreciation for him and my joy for our marriage only grows with each photo shoot. You know why – because I love my job and I recognize HIS role in that.

I love my husband. Without him, being a full time boudoir photographer wouldn’t be possible and I wouldn’t be able to live without him.

I love being a boudoir photographer. It makes me happier than I could ever possibly communicate in a blog post! One of the best benefits for me is meeting the amazing women in the Pittsburgh area. My life has been truly touched by these women, and while I often hear from them that I’ve touched their lives – it’s they who have touched me. I want to build lasting connections with the ladies that appear before my camera.

This beautiful woman is no exception. I have photographed her a few times now and we have another shoot schedule for February. We’re doing a winter themed boudoir session! She has touched my life in so many amazing ways and continues to support me and my business! I love that clients come back time and time again. Her second boudoir shoot was “just for me.” She needed some encouragement and some uplifting and decided to come to me for that. You know – I LOVE that reason for doing a shoot!

The one thing you’ll learn about me quickly is that I don’t just stand there and take your photo – it’s an experience for both of us. We’ll stop and chat, we’ll stop and dance, we’ll stop and sing to the music playing – I LOVE sharing this experience with clients. Lots of laughs in between sexy photos!
