Choosing to do a budoir shoot was a decision that i did not jump into. I thought about it for years. Never having the confidence to act on my thoughts though. Taking the leap and booking with Maura opened my eyes, my mind and my heart.
Maura asked me what I wanted out of this session. My answer…….. through tears….. to feel beautiful, sexy and not see “fat”….. most people see me and think that last answer is ridiculous…… but, that’s my opinion and vision of me.
Maura fully succeeded in making me feel drop dead gorgeous, sexy and squashed my ridiculous opinion of my “fat”. She made me feel worthy, wanted, sexy, hot, and powerful! None of these are an easy feat!
This experience from start to finish exceeded any expectation that I possibly had and squashed ever fear and worry regarding budoir and myself. Maura is the best hype girl and cheerleader in the history of the whole universe!
I have never felt more powerful, beautiful and sexy all at once in my entire existance than I did during my photo session.

Damn it Maura!!!… was all I could say during my photo review session because (for once)I LOVED seeing myself in these photos and it was hard to pick my favorites!! I have never had an experience like this and matched with Maura’s talent it was beyond exhilarating!!
I have wanted to do this for over 10 years, but never did because I “thought” if I could just lose weight or feel better with my body THEN I would do it. Finally, I realized I would be waiting an eternity for this stupid unrealistic expectation of myself. My second worry was finding the best photographer who I could feel comfortable and confident. Boy did I hit the jackpot with Maura!! The end result….THE Best Day Of My Life!!!
This experience from start to finish exceeded my expectations and I truly didn’t know how much I needed this in my life. Maura is the best hype girl EVER and behind the camera she is brilliant! I was so at ease and have never felt more powerful in my life than during the photo session. Ever one of us deserves to feel beautiful, confident, and be a Boss Babe!! Don’t wait…YOU ARE ENOUGH!!!

She did the damn thing…….. again!
This was my second shoot with Maura. She asked me what I wanted out of my session and I told her that I wanted her to capture all of my hard work over the past year and I wanted sexy. She accomplished this and so much more. Sitting with Maura tonight looking at these photos, I couldn’t help but silently gasp and ooh and ahh. Each one was better than the next. How could I possibly choose???
Ladies, if you are on the fence, just do it! There will never be the “right” time. Don’t wait until you feel good, lose the weight, have time. If you don’t make it happen, it NEVER will. Want more for yourself. Every woman needs to experience this one time. You will leave the studio feeling so empowered. You will walk a little straighter and smile a little bigger. You will fall in love with yourself all over again. I guarantee it!! Trust Maura and her magic. You will not regret it!!

I cannot thank Maura McCarl Chick enough for such an incredible experience! From the moment I was greeted at the door with a Welcome Jill sign, to the giant hug she gave me as I walked through that door, and every other step along the way…it was all about me. She asked me what I wanted as a take away from the session and I quickly responded confidence and to feel sexy. Little did I know that would gain so much more…a friend, someone to confide in and trust, and a true artist! Maura is truly a gem!
