Mrs. H’s session was something so super special to me. Sometimes client’s come to me at the exact time I need them and it’s a win win for everyone. Some of her photos are now on the walls of the studio and I couldn’t be prouder. Her curves are OH SO FREAKING FABULOUS!!!! I love that women of all sizes trust me throughout this process. I truly believe that boudoir is for every woman and she proves it. Here’s what she had to say about her photo shoot:

1) Why did you decide to invest in a boudoir photo shoot? Recently lost weight and needed help to not keep seeing the old me when I looked in the mirror. Of course my husband will get to see these photos, but this shoot was ultimately for me, myself, and I!

2) How did you feel about yourself before your photo shoot? I would be lying if I didn’t say I wasn’t over critical on myself and didn’t have body image issues, so honestly ‘just okay’.

3) How did you feel about yourself after your photo shoot? “Like a million bucks!” Post shoot, I felt that I could walk outside your studio completely naked and own it (I would never, but that’s how great I felt)! For the first time in a long time I was comfortable in my own skin.

4) Describe your session in 3 words? Entertaining Incredible Empowering

5) What was your favorite part of the boudoir photo shoot? I know this isn’t the answer you were looking for, but hands down Maura – you are one-of-a-kind! I loved your energy and how real you were, it made me feel so comfortable!

6) What would you say to other women who are considering a boudoir photo shoot? Throw all of your insecurities and doubts to the curb and just do it, you will NOT regret it!

So Sweet

Who is She? An amazing woman who decided to do a boudoir photo shoot to give as a gift for her wedding! Pretty sure his socks are going to be knocked off when he sees his wife in all her boudoir glory!

What Were Her Lingerie Selections? Well, she had her bridal corset that was so great wrapped with some of my white tulle. She also purchased the lace dress that I’ve highlighted in my photos before – she didn’t realize I had it in my collection. But, it looked amazing on her. She also used one of my bodysuits from my collection that I purchased from Frederick’s of Hollywood. Finally, she had an amazing bra and panty set from Victoria’s Secret.

Favorite Moment: Oh gosh, you can see this is always a tough one for me to answer. But, I will say that we laughed ALL DAY! From the moment she first emailed me until the day her photos were delivered, we laughed! She made my job so much fun! I laugh a lot with my clients during their session but her shoot had so many laughs .. from the second she walked in the door! But, I guess one high point of our laughs was when she put the bodysuit on – we were both confused on how to get the crisscross over her head! haha

The women you see on my website are real women. Real women like you and me. I never hire models to pose for me. The women you see are clients that have invested in a boudoir photo shoot and have graciously allowed me to showcase their photos. When clients release their photos to me, I like to ask them a few questions so that I can share their answers with you. This should convince you that they are just like you. They were nervous and excited, couldn’t believe they were going do a boudoir photo shoot, but had an awesome experience that they want to share with you!

2) How did you feel about yourself before your photo shoot? Pretty confident but not model worthy

3) How did you feel about yourself after your photo shoot? Amazing! I can’t say enough about you and how awesome I felt afterwards. I felt like a model during my shoot

4) Describe your session in 3 words? Glamorous, gorgeous, and beautiful!!!

5) What was your favorite part of the boudoir photo shoot? Seeing your reaction while you were shooting me…and losing it (in a good way) saying omg omg he’s going to die!!! Made me feel pretry special and awesome and beautiful, gave me a lot of confidence to “get it girl” 🙂

6) What would you say to other women who are considering a boudoir photo shoot? You’re an amazing photographer who makes you feel so comfortable and confident. I wouldn’t hesitate to book another shoot 🙂 which will be next year 😉

My Muse

Today I’m featuring my muse for my live shoot in August! She was so amazing from beginning to end and we certainly produced some sexy photos from her boudoir photo shoot!

This stunning woman was my live shoot client, and I’m finally sharing more of her photos with you!

Who is She? This beauty is a wife and mom to two little girls. She admittedly was having some issues in accepting the changes in her body after having kids. I knew from the first time we talked that my goal was going to be to appreciate everything she had!

Why Did She Do a Boudoir Photo Shoot? Her shoot was about boosting her confidence and seeing herself in a new light. Learning to accept changes in her body and how to walk confidently knowing there is a supermodel under all those clothes! She was slightly nervous but more excited to do the shoot.

What Were Her Lingerie Selections? Well, easy for her, I styled her session! I had two items from Victoria’s Secret, a bodysuit that I found on Amazon (one of my favorite places to shop), a top from Urban Outfitters, and she brought an oversized sweater that she wanted to use for a few modest shots. Gosh, do I love the collection of outfits I picked out for this shoot! I wish more clients would let me style them!

Favorite Moment: Well, I’ll be honest … the entire boudoir photo shoot was fabulous from beginning to end. I loved having her here. But, I think my favorite moment was right at the end when I asked her to let me testing something new on her. I love that I have clients that trust me — especially when I go closing all the light down to make some dramatic light! She was game for anything I wanted to try!

Another Chick Clique Boudoir Bombshell who describes her session in her own words. Her boudoir photo shoot was absolutely amazing! Here’s what she had to say:

1) Why did you decide to invest in a boudoir photo shoot? I had heard of boudoir shoots before, but never really considered it for myself until Maura mentioned it as a wedding day present for my soon-to-be husband. After reading through her boudoir session booklet and the testimonials of women who had done them, I was sold!

2) How did you feel about yourself before your photo shoot? It was about a month before my wedding and I was STRESSED! Physically, I was feeling a little “blah” because I’d been running around so much I didn’t have the time to exercise as regularly as I usually do. I was definitely nervous! I’m a pretty modest person, so walking around in my underwear was really outside my comfort zone.

3) How did you feel about yourself after your photo shoot? I felt great! The hair and makeup treatment are a surefire way to make you feel glam, and having someone else do it for you is pampering! Maura made me feel completely comfortable throughout the shoot, from helping me choose from the outfit options I brought, giving me a description of how the shoot would go and what to expect from me, to picking out jewelry to complement my outfits, giving great direction of how to pose, and keeping me laughing. I left feeling confident and excited to see the beautiful photos I knew Maura had created, and like I had pushed myself to do something outside my comfort zone.

4) Describe your session in 3 words? comfortable, encouraging, fun

5) What was your favorite part of the boudoir photo shoot? I loved that I could trust Maura to create and capture beautiful, authentic photos of me. She understood my personality and made sure I was comfortable with everything she suggested. Her excitement was contagious!

6) What would you say to other women who are considering a boudoir photo shoot? Even if you are like me and blush at the thought of leaving your bedroom uncovered, book the shoot! Browse Maura’s photos and outfit suggestions – you can find beautiful outfits that you’re comfortable in. And know that you will be in a private, safe environment.
