Boudoir Mini Sessions – Limited Availability

Pittsburgh Boudoir Photography is provided by Pics By Chicks Photography, Pittsburgh’s Premier Boudoir Photographer!

NOW IS THE TIME!

Have you ever wanted to do a boudoir session but didn’t want to take the leap into a full boudoir photo shoot?? Well, it’s here – for the first time ever – I’m offering boudoir mini sessions!!

One day ONLY – November 8, 2015!

Sessions will take place at the Pics By Chicks Photography studio near Beaver, PA.

The Boudoir Mini Session Includes:

~Professional Makeup Application (No hairstyling)

~One outfit in the breathtaking white scene

(think chandelier, white tufted headboard, white sheets, tulle, and a whole lot of gorgeousness)

~ 30 Minute Photo Shoot

~ Digital Download of 10-15 images with a print release letter

~10% off additional products – prints, canvas and little black books

To reserve your spot: A signed terms of services agreement and payment of your session is required. Your time spot is NOT confirmed until both these actions are completed. For your convenience, we accept cash, check and credit cards.

Spaces are already very limited. Don’t delay in getting one of the available time slots. (OCTOBER 22 UPDATE: TWO SPOTS LEFT)

As noted above, only makeup application is provided. You MUST arrive to your mini session with your hair styled and ready to go. If you have to take a few minutes to style your hair, that WILL cut into your 30 minute photo shoot.

We will have a great time during your session. Makeup will start as soon as you arrive, then the 30 minute photo shoot will begin.

You will be allowed one outfit during the session – I can help you decide what will work best. Choose a slip, bra & panty set, a sweater or even just use my white sheets! The possibilities for your outfit are endless!

A very important topic here – what to practice before boudoir photo shoot!

I hear from so many women that they are going to practice their “sexy” face prior to the shoot. No, no – just no. I know that some boudoir photographers would have you get in front of the mirror and practice being sexy but I’ve never found that to actually work.

Case in point. I had a beautiful client who was practicing her sexy face and what she saw in the mirror was not sexy so she was constantly stressing out about it. So, when she arrived at her session, she was extra nervous about her facial expressions. The thing is – she didn’t need to do anything extra to look sexy in her photos – her natural look was amazing. But, during the shoot I could see what was going on in her head – I would have her in a pose, it was great, but she would change her facial expression … her head told her that her face wasn’t sexy so she tried to change it. It wasn’t needed. All that practice and worry and stress FOR NOTHING!

I don’t want you to practice your sexy face. I’ll be able to get good looks out of you!

What I want you to practice is your posture!

Oh, posture. I’ll admit – because I keep it honest – my posture sucks. Just plain sucks. I’ll sit at the desk and just feel my shoulders come forward. In preparation for your photo shoot, I implore you to work on your posture! We want to elongate as much as we can, and posture can make or break a photo. And, during the shoot, I’ve even been known to tell clients to over accentuate their posture – the more uncomfortable it feels, the better it looks! 🙂

Forget practicing your sexy face – work on maintaining good posture. Put those shoulders back! I feel so much more confident when I do!

Lexi is a riot! She’s a senior at Beaver Area High School and I met her last year when she came to her boyfriend’s photo shoot. Lexi then attended her friend Katie’s senior session, which was a few weeks before her session, and it was a blast seeing her again. She’s funny, sarcastic, energetic, and super gorgeous! I don’t think she realizes how beautiful she is – her personality soars when you meet her and she’s guaranteed to make you laugh.

What an amazing session with her! Now, she would give me some quirky poses all on her own and I left those in her full gallery for laughs but I just don’t think she could help herself! I get a feeling that she loves to laugh, and laugh we sure did! Thanks Lexi for an amazingly awesome session! 🙂

This gorgeous woman has been in front of my camera a few times now and each time it’s something special! She has decided that she will be doing a boudoir shoot every year – how awesome is that?!?! Her husband certainly appreciates his annual Christmas gift and every year she brings something that her self-admitted super geeky husband would appreciate.

This year there were two specific items we used in her shoot but you won’t see those on my blog – I like to keep those special items as a secret for her and her husband — their eyes only! 🙂 But, her session was nothing short of spectacular.

I feel so blessed and unbelievably honored that clients come back to me for multiple shoots. I know I’m doing what I was called to do in my life, and my path is only made clear when I have clients come back to me time and time again. It’s not always for another boudoir shoot but I’ve had boudoir clients come back for photos of their children, family shoots or anniversary shoots, and they are always referring me as a wedding photographer to their friends.

I’m so honored to work with these amazing women and I feel like I’m right where I need to be when I’m shooting boudoir … or even editing the photos! I LOVE MY JOB!!!!!! 🙂

Bri & Greg were married on Saturday and even though the weather didn’t cooperate, love won out! 🙂 Thanks to this amazing couple for letting us be a part of their special day! I have loved every moment of getting to know them and being with their families for a few days was a welcome experience for me! Both families were so welcoming and accommodating to me and all the wedding guests! And, let me not forget to mention their awesome bridal party! When I asked the guys if they would step into the wet and somewhat muddy grass, their response was, “Oh heck yea, these are rentals!” hahaha. Such a great group of people.

And, I have to say how awesome their reception was – I’ve never seen that many people on the dance floor immediately after it opens. It usually takes people a while to warm up, but not Bri and Greg’s family and friends. They were on the floor from beginning to end and it was a fabulous thing to witness!

So I was invited to the rehearsal so that I could take some city photos of them the night before. This was down in the strip district!
